The Presidential Decree on the system of state social support for families caring for disabled persons, especially children in need of constant care , was signed.

According to it, starting from April 1 of this year, the minimum amount of disability allowance and disability pension given to citizens who are unable to work will be increased from 440,000 soums to 622,000 soums, taking into account the additional payment.

A monthly allowance of 500,000 soums (care allowance) will be introduced to the legal representative of a child with a disability under 18 who needs the care of others.

In this case, allowances for 49,000 persons with disabilities will increase by 41%. An additional 81 billion soums will be allocated for the implementation of this measure in 2022.

The amount of disability pensions, which is lower than the allowance given to persons with disabilities, will be increased to 622,000 soums. The amount of pension of 133,000 persons receiving disability pension will increase by 29% on average. An additional 140 billion soums will be allocated for the implementation of this measure in 2022 from the Pension Fund.

Mothers (fathers) taking care of disabled children under 18 who need constant care will be assigned a new allowance for the care of a disabled child in an amount not less than the minimum consumption expenses (500,000 soums) .

Mothers caring for children with disabilities are now provided with a guaranteed basic income source. As a result, according to preliminary estimates, an additional 157 billion soums will be allocated from the state budget in 2022 for mothers caring for children with more than 30,000 disabilities.
