According to the United Nations, the number of children killed in the past 6 months due to unrest in the Gaza Strip has exceeded the number of children killed in all wars in the world in 2019-2022.

Between 2019 and 2022, 12,193 children died as a result of all conflicts in the world. The Palestinian-Israeli war, which began in October 2023, has already taken 13-14 thousand children from this world, said Philip Lazarini, the chief commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the United Nations (UNRWA).

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 34,000 Palestinians, two-thirds of them children and women, have been killed by Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip controlled by Hamas.
