Now a number of social payments are made by the National Agency of Social Protection.

According to the presidential decree, from January 1, 2024, the following social payments were transferred to the National Agency of Social Protection:

• age allowance;
• survivor's allowance;
• allowance for a legal representative who is engaged in the care of disabled children under 18 years of age who need the care of others;
• allowance for persons with disabilities since childhood (group 1 and 2, older than 18);
• Allowance for disabled people of groups 1 and 2;
• child benefit for low-income families;
• financial assistance to low-income families;
• a one-time allowance given upon the birth of a child ("joyful allowance");
• funeral allowance ("burial allowance").

In this case, the current procedure for applying for social payments, their review, appointment and payment will be preserved. Now, citizens can address all questions related to these social payments to "Inson" social service centers in districts or cities.

For information, until now, the provision of services in the field of social protection in Uzbekistan was entrusted to several organizations. Now, gradually, social protection issues will be transferred to the agency.
