On February 1, 2024, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Law No. 901 "On the status of the teacher". With this law, additions were made to the law "On State Duty".

Now, pedagogues are exempted from paying state duty in Civil Courts in cases related to the protection of their honor, dignity and professional reputation during their professional activities.

Also, the pedagogue does not pay the state duty when he complains to the Administrative Court about illegal decisions of state bodies, actions (inaction) of officials that violate his rights during the course of his professional activity.
